Three Email Platforms That We Love Working In

Three Email Wax Eloquent Platforms That We Love Working In.jpg

Some may say that email is dead, but we are in the camp that heartily disagrees! If you’re a retail business, email is a powerful tool to find your customers right where they are in the buying journey and encourage them to take that next step. If you’re an organization, it can be a personalized note that takes a passive supporter to a dedicated donator. And if you’re a service business like us, you can use email to send valuable content out to past, current, and future clients to get their eyes on your brand.

No matter how you use email, it’s important to find a platform that will serve you well. We have worked with quite a few platforms ourselves and wanted to bring you a quick overview of three of the most popular ones we utilize for ourselves and our clients. Keep reading to learn more about Keap, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo!

Keap

Keap, formerly known as Infusionsoft, is the platform that we personally use here at Wax Eloquent. This platform is great because it comes with an appointment function that works so well for scheduling discovery calls! It has features like sales and marketing automation, CRM, sales pipeline and analysis, text marketing, and more. At $129/month, you get all of the features of their Pro account with 1,500 contacts. We recommend Keap for those who mainly use email to release content, schedule and follow-up on appointments, and automate campaigns.

Mailchimp

Mailchimp is probably one of, if not the most, well-known email platforms across industries. We love this platform because the basic version is free for 500 contacts and 2,500 monthly emails. Pretty impressive! Some of the paid versions allow for scheduling, segmentation, and other advanced features, but for most, the free version does the job well. Mailchimp is easy to build templates and create campaigns. It even helps you determine better subject lines with helpful pop-up tips! Mailchimp is great for personalized messages such as updates from your business or organization. We recommend Mailchimp for those who are first diving into email campaigns since the free version allows for so much.

Klaviyo

Our final platform is Klaviyo. We won’t lie to you…this one is a beast but in a good way! One of our clients came to us already using this platform, so we dove head first into learning as much as we could as we started working in it. Klaviyo is incredible for retailers looking to capture their customers (past, present, and future) from their abandoned carts, recent purchases, and beyond. It also allows for very detailed specifications and triggers to be put in place for their flows, which is one of their automations. This platform has highly detailed analytics that make it very helpful to pinpoint where sales are coming from – even down to the exact email. Klaviyo has a free version that is perfect for those who want to learn the platform before paying the $45-$60 price tag. We recommend Klaviyo for retailers who are ready to show up in their customers’ inboxes at just the right moment to get them to make that next step in the buying journey.

…and that makes three! Between Keap, Mailchimp, and Klaviyo, there are so many things that you can accomplish through email campaigns on the platform right for you. If diving into email feels a bit overwhelming, don’t fear! Wax Eloquent is here! Our team is well-versed in email copywriting, campaign creation and management, and analytical reporting.
